What is Prometheus about?The film tells the story of the crew of a spaceship, bound for a distant planet, who find themselves caught in a battle between factions of an advanced race. The failed colonization has prompted one side to send alarm signals. The alarm signals are received by the Earth's systems and transponded through space to their local ship, which reroutes it back to the system where the colonized planet exists.
